Overjet, an artificial intelligence (AI) group specializing in dental applications, has announced a strategic partnership with Glidewell, one of the leading dental labs in California.

This collaboration aims to provide Glidewell customers with access to Overjet’s AI technology, empowering dentists to identify dental issues more accurately and efficiently.

By leveraging the power of AI, Overjet’s solution assists in identifying trouble spots such as cavities and gum disease. The integration of Overjet’s AI with Glidewell’s glidewell.io™ In-Office Solution, an AI-driven chairside CAD/CAM system, reportedly enhances the accuracy of same-day, single-visit restorations.

According to a press release, Overjet’s AI technology integrates seamlessly with glidewell.io, minimizing disruptions to digital lab workflows and enabling dental practitioners to adopt the new system with ease. Overjet CEO and co-founder Dr Wardah Inam highlighted the collaboration’s significance, stating that “This collaboration will enable Glidewell’s network of dentists to harness the power of AI to further advance patient care, opening the door to new opportunities and practice growth.”
