Owandy Radiology has introduced its latest dental imaging system, the I-Max 3D XPro CBCT, at the Greater New York Dental Meeting. The new system incorporates artificial intelligence processing and advanced imaging features designed to improve diagnostic capabilities while prioritizing patient safety.

Technical Advancements

The I-Max 3D XPro brings significant improvements to dental imaging technology, featuring AI processing that enhances image quality by up to 52%. The system’s expanded 16×11 field of view enables comprehensive full-jaw radiographs, particularly beneficial for TMJ and sleep apnea diagnostics.

New smart sensor technology has improved resolution capabilities to 70 microns, while the integration of Focus Scintillator Technology aims to enhance patient safety by reducing radiation exposure.

Software Integration and Accessibility

Boris Loyez, Owandy Radiology’s general manager, emphasized the system’s versatility: “Available as a wall or column-mounted option that can fit in virtually any space, I-Max 3D XPro is redefining the cone beam x-ray category with its 2D, 3D, and CAD/CAM capabilities and other advanced features.”

The system comes equipped with QuickVision 3D Software for guided implant surgery and can import STL files from laboratories or digital scanners. Its TruView Art Technology produces detailed diagnostic images, and the system is designed to integrate with existing practice management software.

Market Introduction and Incentives

To mark the launch, Owandy is offering a $10,000 discount to the first 25 purchasers of the new system.
