Owandy Radiology Revealing Next-Gen I-Max 3D Pro at CDA 2023

Owandy Radiology, a dental radiology hardware and imaging software company, will be showcasing the latest version of its I-Max 3D Pro CBCT unit at the CDA Meeting in Anaheim.

Owandy Radiology’s General Manager, Boris Loyez, explained that the newest I-Max 3D Pro offers exceptional performance and value, as it includes 2D, 3D, and CAD/CAM capabilities. Additionally, the company is lauding it as the lightest and most compact wall-mounted unit on the market, making it an everyday CBCT solution suitable for any office size or budget.

CMOS Sensor for Higher Image Quality

According to a press release, the I-Max 3D Pro has several distinguishing features, including a new generation CMOS sensor for exceptional image quality, a higher resolution of 72 μ Voxels for 3D HD volumes, and optional integrated AI-powered software modules for accurate Ceph analysis and automatic file matching.

The unit also offers simple face-to-face patient positioning, reduced environmental footprint, and dynamic reduction of metal artifacts through Owandy’s AutoMAR and sensor geometric correction.

According to Loyez, “No other CBCT unit will save the practice owner as much procedure time, office space and money as the I-Max 3D Pro.” The unit is designed to achieve quick ROI, making it a well-rounded, everyday CBCT solution for any dental practice.

Lighter and More Sustainable

The updated version of the I-Max 3D Pro CBCT unit is 93 pounds lighter than the original, reportedly improving sustainable development as it uses fewer components and emits less CO2 during transportation.
