Pac-Dent, Inc. is delighted to unveil their new iMatrix-Disposable Matrix Band. This new product expands Pac-Dent’s existing iMatrix Sectional Matrix System, offering a versatile solution for dental restorations.
Designed for Composite and Amalgam Restoration
Designed for both composite and amalgam restorations of every class, the iMatrix-Disposable is a pre-assembled disposable matrix and retainer system that is said to offer exceptional convenience and performance. Its main component is a compact matrix band, which reportedly boasts a 180° moving head for effortless adjustment in any quadrant or angle. Furthermore, the twisting handle is designed to enhace maximum patient comfort, while a quick-release locking system allows for swift removal without disrupting the restoration process.
With its unique cure-through design, the clear mylar band allows the curing light to easily pass through, enhancing visibility during the curing process, says Pac-Dent. This feature reportedly enables dental professionals to assess shade compatibility and marginal integrity with greater accuracy.
Disposable and Compact
According to a press release, the compact size of the matrix band ensures increased comfort for both the clinician and the patient, while also providing enhanced visibility of the treatment area. The 180° moving head and quick-release locking system allow for easy adjustment and swift removal, promoting efficiency throughout the procedure.
Additionally, the disposable nature of the iMatrix-Disposable saves valuable time and simplifies the workflow, eliminating the need for reprocessing.
The iMatrix-Disposable is available in two variations: stainless steel and mylar V shape. This versatility allows dental professionals to choose the most suitable option based on individual patient needs and specific restoration requirements.
