Genoray’s PAPAYA 3D Premium Plus is a 4-in-1 dental x-ray imaging system equipped with a model scan function for prosthesis production.
Capable of taking CT, panoramic and cephalometric imaging, this flagship product enables accurate diagnosis by providing CT Voxel (0.075 cubic millimeter), maximum detector area (23×24cm), and various angles of view (FOV).
In particular, it provides functions such as radiation dose minimization (Low Dose), One Shot Cephalometry, and Fast Scan (CT 7.7 seconds, Cephalometry 2 seconds) to reduce motion artefact and prevent excessive radiation exposure of patients and medical staff.
Versatile modes
Versatile FOV modes are available a variety of purposes: Tooth (4×5-4×7); Teeth (7×5-8×8); Jaw (14×5 – 16×8); TMJ (14×5 – 16×8); and Face (14×14 – 16×14).
Various scan modes are also available across the imaging spectrum:
- Panoramic: Standard, Orthogonal, Bitewing.
- TMJ: Lateral, PA, Double Lat-PA.
- Sinus: Lateral, Lateral Mid, PA.
- CT Modelscan: Stone, Impression.
- CT: Tooth, Teeth, Jaw, TMJ, Face, Skull.
- Cephalometric: Lateral, AP, PA. Waters’ Projection, SMV, Carpus.
Easy patient positioning
There is a ‘smart positioning’ function that memorizes the patient’s position – usually recorded during the first visit) and automatically moves to the corresponding position during subsequent visits.
A foldable chinrest efficiently uses the typically narrow radiation room space with minimal footprint. In addition, the ‘Chair Option’ minimizes the patient’s movement, said to allow all patients, including children and the elderly, a comfortable x-ray taking experience.
Longer sensor lifespan
The PAPAYA 3D Premium Plus is equipped with separate sensors for CT and panorama, so that the sensor’s lifespan can be maintained for a long time.
Genoray’s proprietary image data software, THEIA, comes pre-installed in all of the brand’s X-ray dental imaging equipment. An image processing technology called SMARF (Smart Metal Artifact Reduction Function) is applied to this program, which effectively prevents image quality deterioration due to prostheses.
