Product: Philips Sonicare Cordless Power Flosser

Philips added the Sonicare Cordless Power Flosser to the company’s range of interdental products.

Designed to remove up to 99.9% of plaque, the Sonicare Cordless Power Flosser was developed for patients who need to establish a flossing habit with a simple and convenient interdental cleaning solution.

Flossing has always presented a compliance challenge. According to Philips, the new flosser is said to help overcome that challenge and improve patients’ oral and overall health.

The Sonicare Cordless Power Flosser utilizes Quad Stream technology to boost its interdental cleaning ability. The technology features a cross-shaped nozzle that creates four wide streams – said to be 150% more effective than string floss at improving gingival health. It provides a thorough interproximal clean along the gingival margin.

Other features include: the Pulse Wave technology, which produces gentle pulses of water keep you going and guide you “from tooth to tooth in Deep Clean mode”; two flossing modes and three intensities. The Clean mode delivers continuous flow for effective everyday cleaning, while the Deep Clean pulses allow for more thorough cleaning. Adjustable intensity level adapts for comfort.

According to the Philips press release, the new oral irrigator is guaranteed to improve gum health in two weeks.
