Product: Basal cylindro-conical dental implant

The Basal cylindro-conical dental implants from NSI are designed for immediate loading.

Placed and threaded into the cortical layer, the implant features a rounded tip with a thin apex and gradual spiral profile – the unique shape matching the cortical and the maxillary sinus.

With the aim to obtain an ideal contact without compression, the basal implants’ machined surface, anatomical collar and spiral profile are the result of a certified and patented design, following rigorous analysis and tests of various silhouettes and profiles.

These extra sharp implants also feature a final anti-rotational stop and atraumatic progressive threading to complete its fundamental design characteristics. The overall design, NSI says, helps to “ensure the optimization of the surgery and the success of immediate loading prosthetics”.

According to NSI, basal implants are very sharp to allow threading the hard laminar pits – the most resistant ones – thus providing a solid support for immediate prosthetic loading.

“They have been designed with a thin and minimally invasive core with a rounded apex, right where the spiral is born,” said the company.

“This first anchoring allows stabilization of the implant apex in cortical support, thus concluding and finalizing the surgery performed with the bicortical technique.”

“Each available size has been designed to adapt perfectly to the existing bone quality, having each basal implant its own pitch, its own aggressiveness, and its own compression dictated by the logarithm with which it was created.”

Other features include: Contrived surface; matching with physiological profile; internationally patented trilobe connection; and channel with anti-rotation function and alveolar clot drainage.
