Relu Raises €2 Million to Advance AI Algorithms for Dental Treatment Planning

Relu, a dental software company based in Belgium, has raised €2 million in seed funding from global dental industry investors, including Dental Innovation Alliance. The funds will be used to advance the AI algorithms that Relu offers to dental software companies and to increase focus on enabling global clients in the EU and US markets.

Advancing AI Algorithms for Dental Treatment Planning

Relu specializes in building AI algorithms to support the automation of digital dental treatment planning. The company works closely with leading dental software companies to make their software faster and easier to use with AI.

The funding will enable Relu to further advance its AI technology and offer more automation to dental software companies, making these technologies more accessible to dentists.

With the new funding, Relu aims to increase its focus on enabling global clients in the EU and US markets. The company’s co-founder and CEO, Holger Willems, expressed excitement about working with “world-class investors who have a deep understanding of the dental industry.”

Together, Relu and its investors plan to support dental companies across the globe with planning automation of dental treatments, like dental surgery and clear aligners.

Investors Look to the Future of Digital Dentistry

Dental Innovation Alliance, one of the investors in Relu’s seed funding, expressed optimism about the future of digital dentistry.

“Relu represents the cutting edge of digital dentistry,” said Doug Brown, co-founder and managing partner of Dental Innovation Alliance.

“As dental service organizations continue to provide better care at lower costs, we anticipate a wave of 3D imaging and advanced treatment planning. Relu’s technology gives DSOs and their clinicians the clarity and insight they need to perform their best, grow their practices, and offer the best care possible.”
