Roland DG Announces Relocation of UK Headquarters to Bristol Parkway

UK: Roland DG, a leading manufacturer of digital printing technology, has unveiled plans to relocate its UK headquarters from Clevedon to Bristol Parkway. The move, set to be completed this month, marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth strategy and commitment to innovation in the digital printing sector.

Strategic Location for Enhanced Accessibility

The new headquarters will be situated in Stoke Gifford, Bristol, strategically positioned near the M4 motorway and Bristol Parkway Train Station. This location has been chosen to improve accessibility for both customers and partners, reflecting Roland DG’s focus on strengthening relationships within its network.

Stephen Davis, Marketing Director EMEA and Managing Director for UK and Ireland at Roland DG, emphasised the strategic importance of the move, stating:

“This move isn’t just about changing our address; it’s about positioning ourselves for continued growth and innovation in an area thriving with opportunity.”

Expanding Creative Capabilities

Alongside the headquarters, Roland DG’s creative centre will also transition to the new location. This facility will showcase a range of Roland DG machines, including a dedicated area for DG Dimense applications and dental milling technology from DGShape.

The company views this centre as more than just a showroom, describing it as “an EMEA hub for innovation and inspiration” that will cater to various industries including signage, textile, and retail.

Commitment to Community Engagement

Roland DG has reaffirmed its commitment to community involvement as part of the relocation. The company plans to continue its partnerships with local organisations, building on existing relationships with charities such as the YMCA Brunel Group and The Grand Appeal, the official charity of Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.

Davis underscored the importance of these community initiatives:

“We understand the importance of collaboration and community engagement in driving positive change. Through ongoing efforts and partnerships like these, we aim to create a brighter future for youth in Bristol and beyond, fostering a sense of belonging and opportunity for all.”

Transition Period and Future Outlook

The Clevedon office ceased operations on 16 April, with teams working remotely to facilitate a smooth transition. The new office and showroom are scheduled to open this month, marking the beginning of a new chapter for Roland DG in the UK.

As the company settles into its new home, industry observers will be keen to see how this strategic move impacts Roland DG’s market position and innovative output in the competitive digital printing landscape.
