JAPAN: Shofu Dental is preparing to unveil its latest innovation – the DentaLaze wireless diode laser. Scheduled for release on September 1, it is touted as a cost-effective wireless diode laser that seamlessly combines advanced functionality with a compact, ergonomic design.
Operating at 808nm, it delivers 3W of constant infrared power and 5W pulsed power, offering clinicians the necessary versatility for a wide range of intraoral soft tissue procedures, including gingivectomy, frenectomy, and impression troughing.
One standout feature is the distinct green aiming beam that accompanies the laser. This beam enhances visual clarity during procedures, aiding practitioners in achieving precise and accurate outcomes.
Enhanced Patient Comfort and Efficiency
Designed with patient comfort in mind, DentaLaze is designed for dental practices seeking to optimise soft tissue procedures. According to a press release, the device offers continuous operation for up to 45 minutes on a single charge, ensuring that procedures can be carried out with minimal disruptions.
Notably, the laser’s construction boasts exceptional durability with its scratch-resistant solid metal build. This robustness is matched by its lightweight and portable design, which is both quick to set up and space-efficient, sparing precious counter space in the dental office.
