ZuluSeoul International Dental Exhibition and Scientific Congress 2022 (SIDEX 2022) will be held at COEX Convention and Exhibition Centre, Seoul from 27 – 29 May, 2022. This year’s outing will coincide with the 97th anniversary of the founding of Seoul Dental Association, which is the event organiser.
Despite the challenges of organising events in the COVID-19 climate, SIDEX is one of few global dental shows to have held in-person meetings successfully in recent years.
SIDEX appears to be on an upward trend – if last year’s event serves as an indication. Show visitor numbers grew almost three-fold from 4860 to 14,180, compared to 2020 figures. Considering these are show numbers set during the COVID-19 period shows the event’s resilience.
This year, the organisers are targeting to restore the scale of the exhibition to pre-COVID-19 levels. The exhibition spaces located in Hall C and Hall D will be combined for the event on the third floor of the COEX Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Introduced last year, the ‘Smart SIDEX’, an initiative that streamlines the registration process using smart terminals and e-kiosks will be further upgraded.
“We are making preparation to make sure that visitors to SIDEX can deal with everything related to SIDEX such as registration, attendance, visit to scientific congress and exhibition and participation in various sideline events conveniently,” says the event organiser.
SIDEX is known in the domestic dental sector as one of the top scientific congress destinations and exhibition that showcases the latest in advanced dentistry.
