South Korea’s Dental Bridge Launches “DoctorBridge” Platform in India

Connecting Medical Device Manufacturers with Doctors

INDIA: DBridge India Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of South Korea’s Dental Bridge Co. Ltd., has introduced its platform “DoctorBridge” in India. The platform aims to facilitate the connection between medical device manufacturers and end-users, with a particular focus on doctors.

Robust Online Ecosystem and Continuous Clinical Education

DBridge’s strategy involves the establishment of a robust online ecosystem, emphasizing continuous clinical education. This approach fosters knowledge exchange among doctors on a global scale. The platform seeks to play a pivotal role in the growing Indian market for facial aesthetics procedures, expected to reach $2.67 billion by 2028.

India’s increasing demand for facial aesthetics procedures is driven by factors such as rising disposable income, the influence of social media, and a growing interest in anti-aging solutions. Dental Bridge, a major player in the Korean facial aesthetics market, through its subsidiary DBRIDGE India, is bringing the latest trends and techniques to meet the aspirations of those seeking the coveted ‘Korean Glass Skin’ look.

Successful Market Foray and Collaborations

DBridge initiated its market entry by launching ‘DoctorBridge’ at the World Dental Show (WDS) in Mumbai and the Annual Conference of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI) in Delhi last November. The platform exceeded expectations with over 100% growth within the first week. It has already secured numerous Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with renowned doctors in India for future collaborations.

DBRIDGE India recently participated in the K-Startup Center (KSC) India 2023 program, securing the 1st Runner Up Prize during the KSC India Demoday. This program, run by The Circle FC, a Gurugram-based business accelerator, supports startups in soft-landing in India by providing valuable insights through mentoring, resources, and a partner network for market access.

Ms. Lina Ahn, the Founder of Dental Bridge, brings extensive experience in healthcare sales and marketing from global giants like GSK and P&G. As a former dental student in the UK, Ms. Ahn is inspired by doctors’ enthusiasm to learn and grow. Her vision is to bridge Korean medical device companies with Indian doctors, enhancing the experience of facial aesthetic treatments in India and positioning the country as a hub for such services in neighboring countries.
