SurgiTel has released the new Surgical Headband LED 2.0, said to be an update of the traditional surgical headlight used in many hospital environments.
Available in loupe or headband style mounting, the new surgical light boasts a brighter LED and longer battery life as compared to previous models.
Power meets colour balance and beam uniformity
According to the company, Surgical Headband LED 2.0 combines the power of traditional surgical headlights with the colour balance and uniformity of advanced LED technology.
The surgical headlight has an average brightness of 120,000 Lux, spot size of 90 mm (thrown from 500mm distance), and a color temperature of 6500K.
The multi-lens design and optics produce beam uniformity and colour accuracy, along with an even field of intensity.
Less eye strain, more battery life
Promising optimal colour balance that reduces eye strain, the company says the headlight will not change color over the working distance range.
The replaceable battery cells allow low maintenance cost and up to 12 hours of battery life.
