uLab Systems Launches Custom Branding Options for Orthodontists

uLab Systems, a provider of clear aligner platforms, has announced the launch of a suite of custom branding options for orthodontists. The custom branding options include branded aligner pouches, aligner cases, typodonts, and patient brochures.

Personalised Experience for Patients

Since 2021, uLab has offered orthodontists the option to package a patient’s aligner in a box designed with their name and logo. With the new branding options, the aligner pouch and aligner case will also come as custom-branded packages with the box, enabling orthodontists to create a unique, personalized experience for their patients.

According to Dr Kevin Oliviera from Coastal Orthodontics, a member of the pilot group that trialed the customized items, the branded items are giving his practice much more visibility in the community. “The ability to brand the aligner package, pouch, and aligner case with our practice logo allowed us to provide the patient with a unique, personalized experience,” he said.

Promoting Brands Rather Than Manufacturers

Amir Abolfathi, CEO, and co-founder of uLab, said that orthodontists’ brands and expertise are what patients should associate with quality results. “At uLab, we believe it’s more important that our customers promote their brand rather than the manufacturer’s,” he added.

uLab’s platform aims to provide orthodontists with innovative tools to enable flexibility and control over the patient treatment plan. The company plans to offer “all-digital” platform options, enhanced AI-guided planning tools, and features to enable direct print outputs in the future.
