In a prestigious ceremony held in Berlin on May 23, 2023, vhf camfacture AG, a provider of dental technology solutions, was honored with the German Innovation Award 2023 in Gold by the German Design Council. The award was presented in the category of Medical Technologies, specifically recognizing the dental milling machines E5 and E4 from vhf’s new EASE CLASS, in conjunction with the patent-pending .

German Innovation Award Winner

The German Innovation Award reportedly received an impressive 650 entries from 22 countries, making vhf’s success even more notable. According to a press release from the company, this award serves as a testament to vhf’s innovation and provides further motivation for the company to continue developing cutting-edge solutions under their motto of “Creating Perfection.”

Lucas Kehl, Head of Product at vhf camfacture AG, expressed his satisfaction with the recognition received, stating, “We were aware that the new product line in combination with the novel AIRTOOL would be a groundbreaking innovation for the dental industry. We are all the more pleased that this was also assessed by the independent expert jury of the German Innovation Awards and honored accordingly. For vhf and the EASE CLASS, this is a huge success and a great recognition for the development work of several years. We are all really proud of this.”

vhf camfacture AG’s EASE CLASS

The EASE CLASS from vhf represents a significant advancement in dental restorations, says the manufacturer, as it combines high-quality results with ease of use. The E5, a five-axis circular milling machine, and the E4, a four-axis wet grinding machine, offer several notable features that set them apart from traditional milling machines.

One of the key innovations is the elimination of the need for compressed air. This achievement is made possible by the introduction of the AIRTOOL, a dental milling tool equipped with turbine blades that generates a powerful air flow through the high-frequency spindle’s high speeds. The resulting air flow effectively removes chips and dust, reportedly ensuring a clean workpiece throughout the milling process.

The DENTALCAM software, combined with the E5, E4, and the AIRTOOL, is meant to facilitate a seamless digital workflow for dental technicians, practice labs, and laboratories. This comprehensive solution is said to streamline the milling process, offering convenience and efficiency.

In the rapidly evolving field of dental technology, vhf camfacture AG’s achievement of the German Innovation Award 2023 in Gold underscores their commitment to providing dental professionals with tools that can simplify their workflows.
