Weave Introduces Automated Payment Reminders

New Feature Aims to Streamline Revenue Collection

Weave, a prominent experience platform catering to small and medium-sized healthcare practices, has launched a new feature designed to enhance revenue cycle management. The ‘Payment Reminders’ feature automates the process of collecting outstanding balances, promising to simplify and accelerate financial transactions for healthcare providers.

The feature integrates seamlessly with Weave’s existing invoicing and payment request systems, including the Text to Pay service. As soon as an invoice or payment request is issued, the system initiates automated payment reminders. This advancement is intended to facilitate smoother revenue collection with minimal manual intervention, enabling practices to maintain a more consistent cash flow.

Enhanced Convenience for Patients and Practices

According to Branden Neish, Weave’s Chief Product and Technology Officer, the introduction of Payment Reminders represents a significant improvement in the payment process. “We are very excited to introduce Payment Reminders to our payments product suite. With 63% of patients preferring text payment options, Weave streamlines the process, saving offices time and effort each day,” Neish stated.

The new feature not only automates payment reminders but also supports various payment methods. Patients can choose from Text to Pay, credit card payments, ACH Direct Debit, Online Bill Pay, Scan to Pay, and Mobile Tap to Pay. Additionally, the system provides options for Buy Now, Pay-over-time plans, and the ability to keep a payment method on file, offering financial flexibility for users.

Integration with Existing Workflows

Weave’s Payment Reminders feature is designed to integrate smoothly with healthcare practices’ current communication workflows. All payment requests are sent from the practice’s phone number, ensuring that patients recognize the source of the request and trust the process. This integration aims to enhance the overall customer experience by connecting every touchpoint from initial contact to final invoice.

Over the past year, Weave has been recognized as a leader in multiple categories, including patient engagement, dental practice management, and optometry, according to G2. The company continues to innovate within the healthcare sector, providing solutions that streamline operations and improve patient interactions.

In conclusion, Weave’s new Payment Reminders feature represents a significant advancement in the management of healthcare practice finances, promising to ease the billing process and enhance the patient payment experience.
