Elevate Oral Care has released the Allday Dry Mouth Gel, the newest addition to the company’s patented oral moisturizing product line.

According to a press release by Elevate Oral Care, Allday Gel tackles the dry mouth condition using a different approach, as compared to other moisturizing mouth products. Allday Gel uses a patented formula – containing a mucoadhesive hydrogel that when combined with its maximum xylitol concentration, helps to relieve dry mouth and improve oral health.

Since achieving a non-acidic oral environment is crucial for disease prevention, said the press release, that would place dry mouth patients in the extreme high-risk group.

Maintaining a neutral pH of ~7.0, Allday Gel provides continuous buffering and protection for dry mouth patients, especially when used throughout the day and night.

The mouth gel is saturated with 44% xylitol, which is said to be “far more than any other dry mouth relief product”. Its patented hydrogel purportedly holds more xylitol in the mouth for an extended period, which the company says, helps to prolong the bacteriostatic benefits.

According to Elevate Oral Care, more than 25% of dental patients suffer from dry mouth. The Allday Dry Mouth Gel is designed for patients who want relief from their pain and discomfort. It also provides extra protection from caries, since dry mouth patients’ low saliva flow puts them at high-risk.
