The CS 8200 3D Neo Edition from Carestream Dental offers a versatile 2D/3D imaging system with an expanded field of view (FOV).

The extended FOV is ideal for scanning the full arch — including third molars — in just one scan. The Neo Edition introduces three more fields of view for a total of 9 selectable views – ranging from 4x4cm to 12x10cm.

Powerful 2D/3D imaging system

The CS 8200 3D Neo Edition provides 2D panoramic and CBCT images, in addition to 3D model scanning for a powerful imaging package. The high-resolution images, at 75 microns, are suitable for endodontic applications. The unit features an ANR algorithm based image de-noiser that helps preserves crisp, clinical details.

Combined with Carestream’s Tomosharp algorithm image processing technology, the unit delivers sharp, instantaneous panoramic images.

Minimise meta artefacts

Featuring CS MAR1 technology with live comparison, the CS 8200 3D Neo Edition automatically reduces metal artefacts to help confirm diagnosis and reduce the risk of misinterpretation.

The new panoramic mode reduces the radiation dose by up to 50%, making examinations much safer. A complete range of panoramic programs – including but not limited to extraoral bitewing – gives you lower dose 2D images for a safer operation.

Meanwhile, the new scout image allows easy control of imaging area prior to examination. This helps to reduce risk of retakes and facilitates the use of the smallest FOV.

Convenient digital data transfer

Available as an option, CS Connect lets users digitally transfer their datasets anytime to a preferred lab or to referrals via an online portal.
