DOF Showcasing CRAFT 5X DC Milling Machine at GDTEX 2023

Korea: DOF Research Center will be exhibiting its dental CAD/CAM innovations, including their ‘CRAFT 5X DC‘ milling machine, at the Gyeonggi-Gangwon-do Dental Technician Society Conference Equipment Exhibition (2023 GDTEX). The exhibition will be held in Suwon Convention Center on April 22, 2023.

One-Step Milling

According to DOF, the CRAFT 5X DC milling machine has the advantage of performing one-step milling and 90° milling with high precision, and it boasts a unique wet processing system completed through an automatic drying function, making it an ECO milling machine capable of dust-free processing.

Equipped with a complete automation system that can mill up to ten discs continuously, it can reportedly increase work efficiency and cut labor costs. The disc changer has been vertically designed to fully maximize the user’s convenience as well as making cleaning and replacing the discs simple, says the manufacturer.

DOFmotion

Additionally, DOF’s CRAFT 5X DC users can conveniently check the progress of prosthetic prosthesis processing anytime, anywhere with a smartphone through ‘DOFmotion’, a mobile application developed by DOF Lab.

The CRAFT 5X DC milling machine is also equipped with an ultra-precision sensor to ensure error-free milling. Each sensor works organically to control the smart milling performance of CRAFT 5X DC.

According to a press release, the dental milling machine is a significant milestone for the industry, as it allows technicians to perform milling without limitations on the type of materials or the size of prostheses, thereby increasing work efficiency while reducing labor costs.
