Orascoptic has released Dragonfly, a powered loupe with fully integrated battery power and circuitry to operate a built-in headlight.
Dragonfly fits industry-leading optics and an award-winning headlight into a lightweight frame. Featuring a counter-balance design that reduces pressure on the user’s nose bridge, the ergonomic eyewear offers affords all-day wearing comfort. The unique design is said to reduce up to 30% weight on the nose compared to traditional loupes.
More importantly, the powered loupe delivers untethered freedom – no more fumbling over cables and battery packs. All Dragonfly loupes use Orascoptic’s TruColorTM headlight technology.
Offered in PRO, RDH, and NEO, clinicians can customize their Dragonfly according to a host of magnification powers (2.5x, 3.0x, 3.5x, 4.5x, 5.5x / Variable 2.5x-3.5x; variable 3x-4x-5x).
They can also choose from different carrier lens shapes, and a variety of colors (Amethyst, Charcoal, Neptune, Olive, Champagne, Lilac and Midnight) to suit individual preference. And every Dragonfly employs Orascoptic’s TruColorTM headlight technology.
