Garrison Dental Solutions Unveils Strata-G Sectional Matrix System for Dental Restorations

Garrison Dental Solutions has launched its latest innovation, the Strata-G™ sectional matrix system. The system reportedly boasts a 270° Seal™, providing optimal flash control during procedures. One of the key advantages of Strata-G is its ability to deliver strong tooth separation while being easier to open, says the manufacturer.

The company attributes its performance to the implementation of Nitinol drawn-wire nickel titanium, which is said to ensure superior functionality and requires less effort to open. According to a press release, Garrison Dental has further enhanced the longevity of the material through its proprietary StrataSet™ treatment.

Enhanced Durability

The Strata-G system incorporates PEEK ultra-durable reinforcement on the back of the ring, allowing it to retain a higher percentage of its initial strength for a longer duration compared to non-reinforced rings, says Garrison Dental. This design not only enhances durability but also expands the range of applications for the Strata-G system.

To allow for multiple uses, Garrison Dental has developed the StrataBond™ silicone/PEEK tips. These tips have been meticulously engineered to withstand hundreds of applications, says the press release.

Increased Control and Precision

Garrison Dental expects dentists to find the Strata-G™ rings, bands, and wedges indispensable for achieving faster and more precise Class II restorations. The system’s 270° Seal feature offers ultimate flash control, which is intended to reduce the occurrence of rings springing off the tooth during the procedure. Additionally, the Wide Preparation ring provides a solution for challenging wide preps, enabling efficient and accurate restorations.

Among the notable features of the Strata-G system is its improved anatomy and grip. It creatures enhanced marginal ridge guides and supports matrix bands, while the StrataBond silicone contributes to its flash control. Furthermore, the Ultra-Grip™ retention extensions are said to offer tenacious grip while being gentle on the papilla, enhancing patient comfort.

Garrison Dental Solutions anticipates that the Strata-G sectional matrix system will offer dentists a durable, versatile and precise set of tools for dental restorations.
