The survey, conducted on 200 dentist members, focused on “sub-records,” which encompass comprehensive patient treatment details, self-care status, and lifestyle habits recorded on a daily basis.
The results, announced on June 30, 2023, reveal a growing interest in digitizing paper medical records within dental clinics, with MetaMoJi Dental eNote emerging as the preferred choice among respondents.

As per the survey findings, 51% of dental clinics expressed their desire to digitize paper medical records, signaling a notable trend towards embracing digital solutions in the industry. More than 80% of the surveyed dentists also endorsed the idea of pursuing digitization, with over 50% actively considering the introduction of tools to facilitate the process.
Among the dentists keen on digitizing paper medical records and exploring digitization tools, MetaMoJi Dental eNote gained remarkable recognition, securing a recognition rate of 70%.
This innovative product, launched in October 2020, provides a seamless and user-friendly experience akin to handwriting on paper, complete with a distinctive “live information sharing” feature. It has found substantial usage primarily in dental clinics offering home-visit dental care.
