Midmark Releases New Intraoral Digital Sensor System for Enhanced Dental Imaging

Midmark has introduced its latest product, the Midmark Intraoral Digital Sensor System, which aims to provide high-quality imaging with advanced triggering hardware and algorithms that minimize X-ray doses. The new sensor system reportedly delivers superior image quality with the best line pairs per millimeter (35.7 lp/mm) on the market.

The new Midmark Intraoral Digital Sensor System is designed for patient comfort, says the manufacturer, with a thin profile, rounded corners, and contoured surfaces that minimize discomfort. The system also features CMOS technology to optimize resolution and reduce noise, producing sharp, detailed images that can be reviewed immediately for diagnosis.

“Reliably capturing high-quality images is the most important attribute of an intraoral digital sensor,” said Mark Greenwood, VP of imaging product development for Midmark.

“At Midmark, we’ve designed a digital sensor system with advanced triggering hardware and algorithms to reduce X-ray doses and produce high-quality images with outstanding resolution when used with any dental X-ray source.”

Integrates with the Midmark Preva Plus Intraoral X-Ray

The Midmark Intraoral Digital Sensor System is available in two sizes to accommodate patient needs and exam requirements. Clinicians can integrate the system with the Midmark Preva Plus Intraoral X-Ray for added convenience, as the system features sensor storage and in-arm cable management.

With Midmark Clarity filter sets, clinicians can further optimize image clarity for accurate and quick diagnosis. The sensor housing and cable are designed for reliability and a water-tight connection to promote asepsis, and Kevlar strands are integrated to reinforce the cabling for added durability.

All Midmark Intraoral Digital Sensors come with a standard five-year manufacturer’s limited warranty covering failure or malfunction due to normal uses, and five years of Midmark’s exclusive Sensor Safe extended care and priority replacement plan.
