Novadontics, a provider of business and digital tools for healthcare practices, boasts what they claim is the world’s first cloud-based practice management software designed for general and implant practices of all sizes. Their software aims to help clinicians thrive in the evolving landscape of dentistry by providing them with innovative, integrated features and tools.
Web-Based for Convenient Access
According to the company, Novadontics’ cloud-based practice management platform offers clinicians and staff the ability to run their practices smoothly and efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on patient care. With mobile access from any web-enabled device, dentists can engage with patients, streamline workflows, and enhance the overall patient experience, says Novadontics.
Novadontics’ web-based practice management platform offers a comprehensive set of features to support dental clinics. The Novadontics Dashboard provides a consolidated view of data from various modules and presents it in lists and charts. This at-a-glance presentation is said to enable quick analysis and monitoring of practice status and activities.
The platform’s Report Module reportedly generates and stores a wealth of valuable information for managing a successful dental practice. Clinics are able to generate reports related to accounting, patients, and appointments in PDF or CSV format. These reports are meant to offer insights into outstanding balances, total collections, patient types, recall periods, patient referral sources, new patient intake, appointments by provider, and canceled/no-show appointments. This data analysis allows for effective decision making and long-term planning.

Files Stored on Cloud
Novadontics offers a cloud-based X-ray and CT Scan Module, which is said to simplify the process of capturing and uploading intraoral x-rays, CT scans, and panoramic x-rays into patient files. These files are stored on the cloud and can be accessed from any supported device. The platform’s Nova SharedCare feature also enables easy sharing of radiology images with other practitioners involved in the patient’s treatment, says the company.
Additionally, Novadontics’ clinical notes provide dedicated spaces to record essential details such as monitors, anesthesia, ASA status, airway class, vitals, medication, and implant-related information. Dentists can also upload and store related photos, including pre-, peri-, and postsurgical views, within the clinical notes.
