Pearl and VisiQuick Collaborate to Integrate Second Opinion Disease Detection AI

Pearl, a provider of dental AI solutions, has joined forces with VisiQuick, a dental imaging software platform in Europe.

The partnership aims to integrate Pearl’s Second Opinion disease detection capabilities into the VisiQuick platform, enabling users to access advanced clinical AI features. This collaboration will expand the availability of Pearl’s suite of AI solutions to dental professionals across the European Union.

Accessibility to Pearl’s AI Solutions

Ophir Tanz, the founder and CEO of Pearl, emphasized the importance of AI in shaping the future of dentistry. He expressed Pearl’s commitment to ensuring widespread accessibility of their AI solutions, benefiting patients, providers, and practices alike.

Tanz stated, “By integrating Second Opinion’s capabilities within VisiQuick’s imaging solution, instantly equipping thousands of practices around the world with dentistry’s most powerful clinical AI, our partnership with VisiQuick ensures a brighter dental future.”

The Second Opinion AI software is the first chairside AI software with global regulatory clearances and utilizes computer vision technology to aid dentists in identifying various diseases and conditions present in dental x-rays. Leveraging real-time analysis, Pearl’s AI is said to deliver prompt and accurate findings. According to Pearl, the software enhances the evaluation of x-rays and facilitates improved communication of diagnoses to patients within the dental operatory.

Integration with Visiquick

Through the integration with VisiQuick, users can now conveniently access AI evaluations of 2D intraoral X-ray images directly within the VisiQuick platform.

Piet Reijers, the director of VisiQuick/Citodent Imaging, highlighted the platform’s objective of optimizing dental workflows and streamlining patient management. He explained, “VisiQuick is designed to assist dentists in acquiring, viewing, enhancing, comparing, and annotating all x-rays and intraoral images.” Reijers further emphasized that the collaboration with Pearl has significantly enhanced VisiQuick’s capabilities and benefits.
