Singapore Hosts IADR-SEA Conference

SINGAPORE: Singapore hosted the Joint 37th International Association of Dental Researchers, Southeast Asia Scientific Meeting (IADR-SEA), and 2nd International Oral Health Symposium (IOHS) from November 23 to 25, 2023. 

Organised by the National Dental Research Institute Singapore, the conference is themed “Applying Oral Research Excellence to Advocate Oral Health for All” and will bring together approximately 450 oral health researchers, scientists, and professionals.

Collaborative Research and Networking

The conference serves as a platform for researchers and professionals from member countries in ASEAN, as well as international participants from Australia, Sweden, Japan, and Hong Kong. Attendees showcased their research activities, foster collaborations, and expand their global research network, contributing to the advancement of oral health science.

A diverse range of topics was covered during the event, addressing critical issues in oral health. Universal oral health coverage, the oral-systemic health connection, microbiome modulation and periodontal disease, artificial intelligence in dentistry, orofacial devices, and digital dentistry technologies were among the key subjects that will be explored.
