Custom Smile Plan Process
Within minutes of completing a mobile 3D scan, users receive a “Custom Smile Plan” along with an estimated treatment duration. Customers are then guided to provide additional high-definition scans through a doctor-prescribed at-home impression kit or by visiting a local SmileShop or Partner Network location. This information is uploaded to SmileDirectClub’s virtual care platform, where state-licensed treating dentists or orthodontists review the scans to determine if the individual is a suitable candidate for clear aligner therapy.
