Unveiling Signo T100, MORITA’s new treatment unit

Japan: The IDS (International Dental Show) in February 2023 saw the unveiling of MORITA’s new Signo T100 treatment unit. The new unit, designed by the F.A. Porsche Design Studio, was showcased next to the Signo T500, also designed by the same studio. The Signo T100 comes in white and boasts high-quality functions, maximum patient comfort, and high production quality.

The Signo T100 treatment unit combines the design philosophy of the F.A. Porsche Studio with the high quality standards of MORITA to produce a unit with timeless aesthetics, ease of use, and comfort for both dentist and patient.

“Standard” Pricing Segment

According to the company, the unit meets the highest standards of reliability and durability at an extremely attractive price. It is said to be priced in the standard segment, as opposed to the premium unit Signo T500.

Patient Comfort

The Signo T100 treatment unit boasts a range of features that provide high patient comfort, such as oil hydraulics that allow the unit to be smoothly lowered to only 400mm, making it easy and safe for both older patients and children to get on and off. The unit’s wide backrest and luxury cushion also ensure a continuously comfortable lying or sitting position for patients, even during long treatment times.

Efficient LED Surgical Light

The Luna Vue TS surgical light of the Signo T100 has a long life, energy-efficient single LED that provides a brightness of 30,000 lux and is adjustable in four steps, ensuring an optimum view of the treatment site for the dentist.

The lamp can be switched on and off contact-free using the optional movement sensor, which is performed easily using a gesture and does not break the hygiene chain.

Easy Hygiene Control

The Signo T100 treatment unit also boasts several functions that facilitate hygiene. The permanently integrated instrument holders have a simple design with a wide opening to allow easy cleaning.

The water supply at the spittoon does not just fill the beaker but also automatically cleans the bowl. The adapter of the hose rinsing system can be stored onboard, thus saving space.
