Wimarkle Digital Masterclass for Dental Hygienists Prepares for 9th Training Session

Korea: A digital masterclass for Korean dental hygienists, known as ‘Wimarkle’ or ‘DHMC,’ is gearing up for its 9th training session.

Following the success of its 8th session earlier this year, the program is now actively recruiting participants for its upcoming session in the second half of the year. This latest installment will reportedly incorporate the latest advancements in digital dentistry.

Practical Curriculum

The Wimarkle training program includes a curriculum aimed at equipping dental hygienists with practical knowledge that can be immediately applied in the field of digital dental clinical practice. The program benefits from the expertise of distinguished instructors from various clinics and universities. Their knowledge in areas such as CAD/CAM and implant dentistry enables participants to gain both practical training and a theoretical foundation.

Reflecting on the growing popularity of the Wimarkle training program, Yoon Shin-hye, a dental hygienist and instructor, remarked, “Even while participating in lectures at other seminars, I have noticed that many people recognize me as a Wimarkle instructor.”

Korean Practical Guidebook

The team of dental hygienist instructors involved with Wimarkle have also published what is said to be the first practical guidebook in Korea in 2022 titled “Digital Dental Clinical Practice for Dental Hygienists and Dentists.”

This guidebook has gained traction and is being utilized as a textbook in various universities. Its user-friendly structure has reportedly resonated with learners, making it accessible even to beginners. The guidebook’s success has prompted plans for a second edition to be written and printed later this year.
